The Premier League season has just two games left but the race for the top four place is very much still on

The race for the top four in the Premier League is going right down to the wire this season with all three of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United still in with a chance of claiming fourth spot.

The Blues currently lead the charge to claim a Champions League place after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United on the weekend kept them in the top four on 68 points.
That's two points above Arsenal and three ahead of Manchester United with just two games left to play this season.

It is by no means over, but the statisticians at FiveThirtyEight have ran their data model over the final two fixtures and have predicted that it will in fact be Chelsea who will claim a Champions League spot next season with a 73 per cent chance of finishing in the top four.
Arsenal are given just a 26 per cent chance of nabbing the spot off Chelsea while they think United's chances are all but done for, giving them a measly six per cent hope of playing with Europe's elite once more next season.

That said, both Chelsea and Arsenal have an alternative method of entry into the Champions League next season.

Winning the final also hands them a spot in the Champions League next season, with FiveThirtyEight giving Chelsea a 39 per cent chance of winning the final, while Arsenal are handed a 21 per cent chance.
