In 1995, Abramovich and Boris Berezovsky acquired the controllingi Interest in the large oil company Sibneft. Berezovsky was an associate

We found an article in a German newspaper, more or less confirming this news. Production started in 2017,

expensive residential community in Belgravia, London.
Abramovich purchased six adjoining flats over the years at this address.
He plans to transform the flats into a
single home. It will have a value of around US$ 200 million when completed.
US$ 75 Million New York Mansion
In 2013 Abramovich bought a mansion on 828 Fifth Avenue in New York. He paid US$ 75 million.
This is a record price for a housing cooperative building.
The Upper East Side mansion was built in 1886 for Edward Berwind. And is therefore known as the Berwind Mansion.
In 2014 some legal troubles occurred with the purchase.
The previous owners’ widow, Angelika Ivanc, is challenging the sale in court. She is trying to get even more money.

Abramovich owns another UK property: Fyning Hill estate in West Sussex.
